Asonas Limited is a limited company based in the UK. We are registered with Companies House (8154040).

Under the Data Protection Act (DPA) 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (GDPR) we have a legal duty to protect any personal information we hold.

What personal data do you collect, hold and process?  Why do you need this data?

For subscribers to our general mailing list, we hold only your name and email address.

We may also hold your mobile telephone number if you choose to share it with us to remind you of upcoming appointments including webinars.

We also have one to one client information especially for people who have had one to one sessions: for this list, we hold your name, date of birth, place of birth and email address.

We use this information to communicate with you about our courses, events and services. We may occasionally include other information that we feel is particularly helpful and relevant for your mindfulness practice.

You have the opportunity to unsubscribe at the foot of every email.

How do you store and protect the data?

All the personal data we hold is stored using appropriate security measures.

  • held only on password-protected devices

Do you share it with anyone else?

We will not pass your data on to third parties without your explicit consent.

What are my rights around personal data?

You have the right at any time to ask for a copy of the information we hold free of charge.

You also have the right to:

  • ask for mistakes or gaps in the information we hold to be corrected;
  • ask for information not to be used in some circumstances;
  • withdraw previously given consent to processing in some circumstances;
  • ask for information we hold which is no longer needed to be deleted.
